PAYMENT POLICY

We accept secure payments through Paypal in either Euros or US Dollars.

We prefer that payments be made in full at the time of booking.

For all options, a non-refundable payment of 150€/$150 is required for your booking to be confirmed. This amount is applied to your total cost.

If your booking is made within 120 days (March 7, 2020) of the departure date then the additional 50% of your remaining balance is also due at the time of registration for your booking to be confirmed.

If your booking is made within 90 days (April 6, 2020) of the departure date, the full amount of the trip is due at the time of registration for your booking to be confirmed.
LATE PAYMENTS
We must pay our accommodation and tour operators in advance; therefore we must collect your full payment no later than 90 days in advance (April 6, 2020) of the start of the retreat. If you do not pay in full within 90 days or more from retreat date, we will add $150 late payment fee to your invoice.
RETREAT CANCELLATIONS
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a booking.
Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please purchase travel cancellation insurance once you have made your reservation.
GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY
Depending on when you cancel, cancellation penalties will apply.
Fees for payments made in full are determined by the following schedule:

150€ administration fee is non-refundable from time of booking

Cancellations within 6-4 months of the arrival date will be assessed a 20% administration fee.

Cancellations within 3 months of the arrival date will be assessed a 30% administration fee.

Cancellations within 2 months of the retreat are not refundable. However you may transfer your booking to another person. This transfer must be financially coordinated and self managed. Updated guest information will need to be forwarded to he retreat coordinator.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.
We do not offer credits for guests arriving late or leaving early.
RETREAT CANCELLATION POLICY
We have never had to cancel a retreat, however, if we do cancel a trip due to not enough participants, we will refund to you all deposits and payments you have paid (less any bank/credit card fees). We cannot however compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred.
In the unlikely event that we must cancel a yoga retreat due to weather, natural disaster war, political upheaval, or any other circumstance outside of our control, we cannot guarantee any refunds. To cover these risks, again, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly suggest that each participant purchase individual travel insurance for their trip. It can be a minimal expense for the benefits it provides. We suggest that you include the “cancel for any reason” option and a policy that includes medical coverage. The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance is to purchase trip insurance.
Travel insurance can protect you in case:

you cancel your participation in the yoga retreat

retreat is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, political upheaval, war, or not enough participants to run the trip

lost or delayed baggage
-
medical expenses should you become ill or injured
TRAVELGUARD offers a variety of travel insurances, including the option for a comprehensive “cancel for any reason” policy. If you have to cancel your participation in the retreat, your airfare, hotel, retreat costs, etc. up until 48 hours prior to travel, are typically covered. There are plenty of other insurance companies, so please do research to find what meets your needs best. Please note, it is common with many companies that you must purchase the policy within 15 days of buying your airline tickets or incurring any costs for any part of your travel (like paying the deposit with us).
DEFINITIONS
“Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled Retreat, including postponing or rescheduling.
“You” refers to the guest booking a Retreat.
“We” refers to Retreat Organizers.
